The Radisson Blue Hotel at Schiphol Airport is a business hotel. That simply means that it accomodates mainly business people. The tailored suit is the modern day ‘uniform‘ of business men and-women all over the world. A tailored suit makes the owner feel like a million dollars because it was cut to their body and shape specifically and exudes style and class. What if a hotelroom could fit you like a glove and give you the same feeling of elegance and class as a tailored suit? What if a hotelroom was made to fit your purposes and needs? Like it was cut and sewn especially for you? A hotelroom made-to-fit!

From furniture to fabrics and fittings: every detail in this contemporary hotelroom makes the guest feel like a million dollar. Classic tailoring patterns like a hounds tooth on the custom-made carpet and subtle pinstripe wallpaper evoke a relaxing atmosphere. Desk chairs upholstered in a custom fabric bring the colour scheme together. Warm wood finishes and luxurious textures result in a look that give the room both a sophisticated and tailor-made feel.
We extended the concept for the hotelrooms to the ‘Prince William Ballroom’ and take our inspiration from clothing and tailored suits. Since this room is called the ‘Prince William Ballroom’ we want to take our inspiration from the B ritish Royal Family as well. The British Royals have always been big fans of tartan. Prince Charles is not afraid of wearing kilts and the ladies in his life, first Lady Di and now Camilla, love to dress in matching plaid patterns.
