This Privacy Policy applies to all prospects, clients, suppliers, visitors of the website, visitors of the Creneau offices, applicants and all other individuals that are not an employee and from whom Creneau International collects personal data.

Creneau International and its affiliated companies act as responsible parties for the processing of personal data in the context of customer and supplier administration, processing job applications, etcetera.

Within this Privacy Policy the term Creneau International is used to indicate our group, which includes the affiliated companies mentioned above.
When Creneau International is working on commission, Creneau International acts as processor. Creneau International undertakes to process data only as instructed by the data controller. Those processing operations are outside the scope of this Privacy Policy.
Should you want to exercise your rights as an individual involved, you must always turn to the data controller.
What personal data is processed by Creneau International?
Personal data that is processed in the context of customer and supplier administration.
Creneau International creates a list (CRM) of contact details of customers, suppliers and prospects with the purpose of sending them commercial messages and proposals or for follow-ups on existing contracts and/or commissions. The list is used to invite existing business partners to networking events as well.
Personal data that is processed in the context of job applications
Creneau International is regularly looking for new enthusiastic and motivated employees to strengthen our team. During the application procedure, personal information such as identification details, competences and resumes are processed. When the applicant is not hired, Creneau International will ask for consent to retain information such as your resume to contact you in the future. Creneau International will also create a list of only name, date and the reason for rejecting the application.
Personal data that is processed when Creneau International contacts you for questions or information.
You may contact Creneau International as an individual through several channels (phone, email, contact form website, social media). The personal data you provide by phone, mail, chat or a web form is used to answer your questions only.
Usage of images
When Creneau International publishes specific photos or videos of yours on social media we will ask for your consent first.
Making a table reservation in one of our restaurants
When you make a reservation in one of our restaurants by phone or online, we ask for your identification details and, if necessary, information about food allergies.
Improving the quality of our website
Creneau International uses tools to collect statistics and gain insight into the usage of the website. This information is anonymized and disconnected from your personal details. With whom do we share your personal data?
Creneau International does not share personal data with third parties, unless:

- Creneau International is obliged to do so because of a regulation or legal procedure
- Creneau International is requested to do so by legislative or judicial institutions
- Creneau International organizes an event together with partners or suppliers.
The list of participants will then be shared with those partners and suppliers as well. - Creneau International is completely or partly taken over or split up. Creneau
International will impose on the third party to process the personal data in strict compliance with this Privacy Policy only.
Protection and storage of your personal data
Creneau International acknowledges that the security of personal data is part of data protection. Consequently, Creneau International takes adequate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized processing or unauthorized access in order to prevent misusage.
At each transfer of personal data to a processor outside the European Economic Area (EEA), Creneau International will act in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy and obey applicable data protection laws and regulations, thus allowing for sufficient guarantees.
Creneau International will not store your personal data longer than the minimum period of time necessary for the purposes that are outlined in this Privacy Policy. Unless it is needed to solve conflicts or a longer storage time is legally required. Non-personal data can be stored for statistical purposes without any limitation of time.
What are your rights and how can you exercise them?
What are your rights?
- Right of access: you can ask which personal data of yours we process, why we process it, which types of personal data we process, with which types of third parties we share your personal data, what the origin of the processed data is and – if applicable – which logic we use while automatically processing personal data.
- Right of rectification: if information is incorrect, you can ask us to correct it.
- Right to delete your data: if data is processed unlawfully or if your data is no longer needed
in regard to the purpose for which they were collected, you can ask us to delete them. - Right to limitation of processing: by limiting the processing of your personal data, your
personal data can still be stored yet the usage is limited. When you asked for a processing limitation, we are only allowed to store your data. No other transactions can be carried out with your data. - Right to object: you have a right to object to your data being processed if the processing is based on a general interest or based on a legitimate interest of the processor. Furthermore, you may exercise this right of objection when your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes. The right to object also applies to profiling that is at the basis of processing for direct marketing purposes.
- Right to transferability of data: you have the right to retrieve the personal data you provided in a conventional, structures and machine-readable way and the right to transfer this personal data to another processing responsible that bases their data processing on lawful permissions or contractual relations.
How can you exercise your right?
You can exercise your rights by sending an e-mail to privacy@creneau.com. In order to prevent any unauthorized publication of your personal data, Creneau International may ask more information to verify your identity.
Creneau International has one month’s time to answer your request. This period starts the moment Creneau International receives your request and has access to all the necessary information to comply with your request.
Creneau International will provide the requested information free of charge. When requests are unfounded or excessive, mostly because of their repetitive nature, Creneau International may ask for a reasonable compensation or deny the request.
Should there be any other reason to assume Creneau International is not processing your request correctly, please contact Creneau International on privacy@creneau.com so that we can work out a solution together.
For the sake of being complete, note that if Creneau International does not respond to your request, rejects it or answers in a way that does not meet your expectations, you have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35 in 1000 Brussel or at contact@apd-gba.be.
