2008, this is the year that the open air museum Bokrijk celebrates its 50th birthday. The domain opened its doors in 1958 in the presence of the then Prince Albert of Belgium.

To celebrate this anniversary, Bokrijk announced its plans to open a village from the sixties, where you will find among others a hairdresser's salon, an electrical shop, a cinema and a popular cafe. We took care of the design of the latter.

The café was named Cafe Expo, referring to Expo58, which is considered to be the starting point of the sixties exhibition.
