Within the central zone, in the newly renovated terminal, enclosed and surrounded by other food & drink locations, one can walk straight into the Beers & Cheers.

A central bar wrapped around the supporting pillars of the piece art of Jacques Moeschal. In the hart of a huge open Plaza. The round shape of the bar has been continued in the lay-out of the seating area’s around it. Coming from the main path up to the bar, one will find different seating area’s to the left and right, pieces of furniture in different heights.

Not only the mixture of heights in the seating elements, creates the divercity. The positioning of seats and walls, filled with beer kegs, in a circular way around the artwork, makes the cohesion of the different elements.

Beers & Cheers has to effuse our Belgian way of life. Gathering togheter with friends and enjoy a good Belgian Beer.

It is key in this location that Beer will be served in the correct way. Beer from the tap, poured according the Belgian Pouring ritual. 

Surrounded by different beer related elements, such as the beer kegs, stacked into a rounded frame, strengthens the look & feel of this beer bar.

Stella Artois, a premium brand, with a star. Treated in a higher standard. Working with brass colored graphical elements. Such as the reflecting star above the counter, gives the beer the right attention. Stella Artois wa originally named after the Holiday star. The visitor is literally sitting under the star.

This detail is used in different items, to create in a subtle way some points of attention. Little dots and stars sparkeling and reflecting in the interior. Even the beer glass has its star in the bottom.

The customer is visiting the bar to give themselves a treat. Drinking a well poured beer before departing to another country. The last stop before they head onto the gates.
